Spicy Salsa Recipe

So you have purchased our vegetable seed bumper pack and your ready to start using your fresh produce. Why not try this below spicy salsa recipe to try out some of the veg you have just grown?


  • 4-5 ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2-3 hot chillies, chopped (seeds and membranes removed for less heat)
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, onion, chillies, minced garlic, and cilantro leaves.
  2. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and stir well.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste.
  4. For a smoother salsa, you can blend the mixture in a food processor or blender until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  6. Transfer the salsa to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or grilled meats.
