How to Grow

Stage 1 – Start Indoors:

  • Place on a warm sunny windowsill.
  • Cover with the lid and wait for seedlings to emerge (7–14 days).

Stage 2 – Transplant:

  • Once large enough to handle, transplant 3 seedlings into the milk churn filled with the coir-soil mix and covered with the plant food layer.

Stage 3 – Move Outdoors:

  • Harden off in April–May by placing outside during the day for 7 days before permanently placing outdoors in a sunny spot.

Top Tips for Best Results

  • Sow January to March for blooms from early summer to autumn.
  • Deadhead flowers regularly to prolong flowering.
  • Check moisture levels by touching the soil surface – coir retains water well.
  • Perfect for greenhouses, patios, balconies or as a thoughtful gift.
