For the best results plant your Dahlias between Feb and June
These wonderful flowers will bloom between June to October.
Plant the tubers 10cm deep in the soil and 40cm apart.
They eventually grow to around 60cm in height.
Planting Dahlia Collarette plants after any chance of frost and the ground has become warmer will give you the best-looking flowers. Excessively damp or cold soil can damage the Dahlia tubers so if required, these varieties can be started indoors and transplanted to the garden once the conditions are right.
