I recently purchased Pronto Seed Grass Seed to rejuvenate my lawn, and I am thrilled with the results! After carefully preparing my garden and ensuring the right conditions for growth, I can confidently say that this product has exceeded my expectations in delivering a lush, green lawn. Fast Germination and Growth One of the most impressive aspects of Pronto Seed Grass Seed is its fast germination. Within a week of sowing, I noticed tiny green sprouts emerging from the soil. The seeds sprouted quickly and evenly, filling in patches and creating a uniform carpet of grass that looks fantastic. By the third week, the grass had grown significantly and started to thicken, giving my lawn a full and healthy appearance. High-Quality, Dense Turf The quality of the grass is outstanding. Pronto Seed produces a dense and hardy turf that withstands foot traffic and everyday wear and tear. The grass is a rich, vibrant green, and its thick growth helps prevent weeds from taking hold. I’ve had a few garden gatherings since using this seed, and everyone has commented on how lush and soft my lawn feels underfoot. Suitable for Various Lawn Needs Pronto Seed Grass Seed is versatile and suitable for a variety of lawn needs. Whether you’re looking to overseed an existing lawn, repair patches, or start a new lawn from scratch, this seed mix delivers excellent results. It works well in sun and partial shade, making it a great choice for different areas of my yard. The Importance of Optimal Conditions While Pronto Seed Grass Seed has the potential to transform any lawn, it's important to note that the seeds need the right conditions to live up to their promise. Here are some key tips for success: Proper Soil Preparation: Ensure your soil is well-prepared before sowing. Loosening the topsoil and adding a layer of quality topsoil or compost helps create a fertile environment for seeds to take root. Adequate Watering: Consistent watering is crucial, especially during the germination period. Keeping the soil consistently moist without overwatering helps promote healthy growth. Correct Seeding Rate: Follow the recommended seeding rate on the package for optimal coverage. Overseeding too densely can lead to overcrowding, while underseeding may result in patchy growth. Temperature Considerations: Plant the seeds during the right season and temperature range, typically in spring or autumn, when temperatures are moderate. Extreme heat or cold can affect germination and growth. Sunlight and Shade: While Pronto Seed is adaptable to various conditions, ensuring that your lawn receives the appropriate amount of sunlight will enhance growth. Value for Money Considering the remarkable results and the high-quality grass produced, Pronto Seed Grass Seed offers excellent value for money. It’s an investment that, with the right care and conditions, can lead to a stunning and long-lasting lawn. Final Thoughts Overall, Pronto Seed Grass Seed is an outstanding product for anyone looking to achieve a lush, green lawn. With fast germination, dense growth, and vibrant colour, this seed mix can transform your outdoor space into a beautiful and inviting area. Just be sure to provide the right conditions, and you’ll be rewarded with a lawn that’s the envy of the neighbours.

I’m really impressed with the Pronto Seed Grass Seed. After using it to overseed my lawn, I’ve seen fantastic results. The grass started sprouting quickly, and within a couple of weeks, I had a lush, green lawn that looks much healthier and fuller than before. The seeds are clearly of premium quality, and they’re perfectly suited to the UK climate. What I love most is that this grass is not only fast-growing but also hard-wearing. It’s been able to withstand foot traffic and still looks great, which is ideal for a busy garden. The 1.4KG bag covers a large area (84m²), making it great value for money. Being DEFRA approved adds an extra level of trust in the quality, and I’m really happy with the overall outcome. If you’re looking for a reliable, fast-growing grass seed to improve your lawn, I highly recommend Pronto Seed. It delivers excellent results and is perfect for UK weather conditions.
Grows nice and green! Decent seed for a fair price.
Does what it says on the box. Sprinkle the seed generously and 2 weeks later you will have baby grass growing everywhere. Cut once a week thereafter and in about 6 weeks you will have a lush, thick, quality lawn. Few tips. Don't fertilise too soon as it can stop the seed from germinating. Do stamp this into the ground if you can so it gets good soil contact. Do water every other day for the first 2 weeks at least. April to October are probably optimal months to get this down. If you can aerate your lawn with some of those spikey shoes or a fork it will really help especially if your soil is quite compact.
Good quality Fast growing Good strong grass
Good delivery very pleased
This really is speedy seed as the name suggests this grass grows fast so you have to remember once you have that lawn you’ll have to cut it often since it continues to grow fast even after it seeds. Deducted one star as I purchased two packs going by the guidelines for coverage but I was still short and had some patches where it didn’t sow. However I will purchase more of this when it’s growing season again to fill those as it’s a trusted and will do the job.
Happy thank you
Arrived quickly and as described

The grass had all died/gone from the area in the picture, I put some top soil down with the seed on top, followed by a bit more top soil. Then gently stood on it all to bed it in. Watered it every few days and it grew nice and high after a few weeks. Would use again
Grass has grown through the frost. Nuff said.
I have not been able to use the product yet but anticipate it will perform to a satisfactory standard. I WILL update the view once used at the right time of year.
Nice

Always bought turf before, so decided to give this a go for a new lawn. Sewed the seeds on 23rd September, they took 8 days to start growing second picture, third picture was a couple days after that. Last picture was taken 16 October. Waiting to mow and then overseed, but really happy with the results so far, think it had done really well considering the time of year. **Just added another picture of 22 October.
It is quick to germinate. Bear in mind that this is 75% annual ryegrass so will only last one season. Hopefully the other 25% perennial ryegrass will be enough to make it to next year
Competitively priced product that arrived promptly 👍
Only 4 stars because I'm not sure if the seed is not as good as claimed. Of course it may be operater error. Perhaps the ground prep should have been better. Perhaps I should have been up earlier when the birds were feeding on seed. I have some bare patches and will have to redo those. There was just a thin green haze visible after 10 days but after another 10 it looks like grass, not yet thick but definitely going in the right direction. I did water morning and evening cos there's been almost no rain. I'd buy it again. Can't say better than that.
Very pleased the grass grew even in winter

I needed to overseed as my lawn was infected and birds kept digging. So I applied Nematodes to treat it and the birds stopped coming. I guess the Nematodes were doing their job. I then purchased these grass seeds to scatter over the patchy areas (I literally just scattered them and watered for them to make contact with the soil, nothing else, no top soil or anything). I didn’t want birds eating the seeds so I used reflector tape and it has worked wonders in keeping the birds away. I’ve been turning the sprinkler on for 10 mins a day and the grass is growing! I’m so happy. It’s only been 11 days so far so I’m pleased and also zero signs of birds which is a bonus!
As it promises, these seeds have been very easy to use. I've but them down twice this year (in different parts of the garden after trashing my lawn due to building work). They've coped very well and the seedlings have sprung to life pretty quickly despite me breaking the normal rules and planting them before severe rain (they were 'drowned') then more recently a couple of days before a light frost. They have still germinated despite this (in both exposed and shady areas) so I really can't fault their sturdiness as well as their speediness.
good value and delivered promptly
Ok what is in this grass seed, some steroids??? I have a small back garden that has this HUGE acorn tree, every year the bloody leaves fall in my garden and kill the lawn. Last year I put turf down and again come spring there’s no grass because of those leaves!! Also the lawn is shaded from mid March onwards. This year I was thinking sod it I’m not going to make any effort. All of you who you have the patience to properly prepare the soil etc, I commend you. I was NOT bothered. Popped off to Lidl, bought some compost soil bags. Wet the already bare soil. Chucked over the seeds onto the wet soil and chucked over some soil on the seed. I guess it was a layer of 3 inches. Stomped all over it to make sure it was packed in. I wasn’t expecting much. Watered it daily, for 4 days (when we had the recent hot weather a few weeks ago). Randomly went into the back garden to make sure no cat had pooped on the soil and dug up the grass seed and I nearly collapsed from shock, screamed to hubby to come quickly, he came running thinking I had yet again broken something. And lo and behold GREEN grass greeted us!!! How did that happen over night, how was it two inches tall (yes I measured), how was it alive?? I DONT KNOW! I made the least amount of effort, didn’t prep properly, watered the soil by hand as couldn’t be bothered to stick the sprinkler thing on but yet I have grass! 😱 So this stuff is steroid grass seed, otherwise some fairies came and sprinkled some fairy dust on it, or maybe it’s cat pee. Defo get this stuff, it will grow, if it can grow for me it defo will for you! Oh and the grass seed box was more than enough. Might go chuck some in the front garden too.
sewed on area and send has taken well little patchy but that's likely down to application by me. looks strong growth and should be ready for mower next spring. Area was re-cultivated after building project on front so was soil put back into edge of new driveway raked and leveled. solid was existing material so not really the best as a bit rocky and bit of clay - but nonetheless seed las taken in the area.
Quality seed and fast growing but note the "24 m2 Coverage for Overseeding" in the product description. I did not realise at the time of purchase but this must mean reseeding existing lawns. In my example seeding on soil i.e. no existing grass the square meterage was about 2 square meters.
I showed it and after a week I could watch some of it grow. Don't think I covered it all well enough with top soil. Lots of loose seed came to the surface and doesn't want to grow. Probably my fault.
Good product prompt delivery thanks Pete

So, my lawn was terrible after all the local cats decided to use it as a toilet. read the reviews for this seed and thought I’d give it a go. I must say the results were pretty dramatic considering I sowed them late in September. I raked it first then scattered on the seeds. I did cover them with net otherwise the pigeons will have eaten the lot. A little over a week later and the results were quite remarkable. I think the seeds were given a helping hand curtesy of Mother Nature…it rained solidly for a week. I’m looking forward to spring now when I can do the rest of the bald patches. Highly recommended for a novice gardener like myself.
Ground prep is more important than the product. Get your soil raked flat, stone free and sprinkle seed as required. Gently rake into soil and keep wet for a week. Any decent seed will sprout well and develop into a good lawn. Don’t do mid summer or mid winter and you’ll be fine!
Quickly delivered easy to use
Good product, didn't grow as quickly as I thought. Can buy similar products a lot cheaper
Really pleased with this product, the grass grew so quickly, not ieverywhere yet, but I think that's down to me and the ground.
this worked well apart from the fact that around 20% or so of the seeds didn't germinate. within 2 weeks I had a good coverage of grass which I then over-sowed with a second dose to fill in the barren areas. overall pretty good, would buy again

Bought a box of this stuff as needed to grow grass where I filled in a hill of topsoil. I laid it during perfect weather conditions in April where it was raining quite alot and sun was out occasionally. It took a good 10 to 14 days for seeds to germinate and it seemed abit patchy at first but kept abit of seed to throw down after where needed. 1 box covered approx 10 sm in total not sure about the true coverage it says on the box. All in all I'm happy with the product for what I needed it for.
I got this to help repair my lawn which was really patchy due to my dog weeing on it. I raked the dead areas, sprinkled some seed then put a thin layer of compost over it to stop the birds eating it. Regular watering and within a weekni could see the new grass coming through. By week 2 the grass looked lush and healthy. Tip: leave it to develop good roots before mowing, and put your mower on the highest setting at first. Follow the instructions and only sprinkle a thin layer of seed.
To reseed lawn
Great product it grew within a week and was about 3 inches long in 2 weeks, lovely colour green, very pleased
We think it worked for us when we used it initially but feels like it didn't last long. I am not sure if it is supposed to be like this. We thought, once we use this, it will make our grass better for good.

Used twice over period of several weeks to repair bare patches in lawn on poor soil and both areas germinated successfully as advertised. Thinned out weeds, spread bed of compost mix as base then covered with soil and watered at dusk during dry spell until shoots appeared and showers completed job. Anticipate will thicken up and fill in over time.
Quick growing good value

I bought this to put down on a mud patch where the horses and hay have made it bare. I didn’t prepare the ground but literally just threw it down in the hope that it would grow. It is! I can see it giving a good covering (the paler bit on my pic) all within a couple of weeks. Yet to see if it will stand the test of time but I’m very impressed so far! I’ll definitely be buying some more.

I actually can’t believe how fast the grass grew. I bought the seed at the beginning of October and already my lawn has grown back! It did not expect it to grow back so well and so quick. I bought two boxes in the end so would recommend getting the larger box.

Seeded this in October. Put ontop of soil with a tool that evenly spreads the seed then covered with top soil. Watered it regularly until the rain took over. Initially was a but hesitant as couldn't see any shoots. Now a month later it still looks quite sparse but hopefully it will thicken up into next year. Going to leave it to fully establish before trying to reseed any areas. Perhaps I should have used more soil. Beware as I didn't realise when ordering this seed the number on the front is for seeding over a patchy lawn, creating a new lawn is much less coverage so you may need a bigger box. This only cost me £13 versus about £200 in turf. It looks great when walking from an agle but obviously patchy when looked at from an ariel view. It stops it being an eye sore though and can work on making it a nice lawn.
Used for doggy patches Great product
I’d did germinate within a few days !
Good growth from planted seeds which covered an area of 20m with ease
I used this to regrow grass on bare patches on my fairly new lawn. I just scored the surface, sowed some seeds, covered with compost and watered a couple of times in the week. Within that week it was sprouting new grass. Where I laid it fairly finely (but not sparsely) it’s not as good, but where I threw the seed in a bit thicker, it’s already pretty good. Top tip, for best results, don’t be shy with the seeds.
